Description Castrol Classic Gear Oil EP140 1 litre is a high viscosity gear oil formulated from high grade mineral oil. Suitable for applications where API GL-4 is recommended. The high quality blend aids in protection from oil oxidation, gear wear and corrosion. It’s high viscosity makes it suitable for older vehicles where some wear may have occurred. Features High viscosity 1 litre Monograde mineral base gear oil. Contains anti-oxidants, anti-wear and extreme pressure additives. API GL-4 grade suitable for conventional spiral bevel final drives and mild hypoid axles where recommended. Not to be used in high offset hyboid axles where API GL-5 oils are recommended or in axles with a limited slip differential. May also be used to lubricate spur and helical gears and applications where the vehicle manufacturer specifies a high viscosity oil meeting API GL-4.
