Full product information here ! This system is designed to be a stand-alone filter to instantly remove chlorine and sediment from water. It is rated for up to 99% chlorine removal and can clean up to 90% of sediments larger than 5 microns. Having chlorine and sediment-free water is essential for growing healthy plants and maintaining beneficial microorganisms, bacteria and fungi in the root zone and growing media. These microbes cannot survive in the presence of chlorine. Chlorine-free water is also essential for organic fruits and vegetables, hydroponics and any bioorganic gardening method in general. This filter is not designed to reduce the parts per million (PPM) of your water. The majority of these PPM particles are minerals that can only be removed by reverse osmosis systems.
